Im sorry to ruin the mood but "History Lady" has nothing and I mean NOTHING on her page. This is a clear example of sisters only voting for friends and not even bothering to open up contestants space-pages. This happens on thanking people too but don't even get me started on that!!!

It is truly truly sad to see sisters acting in a childish manner and this has to be addressed. This is all friendly competition so why turn it into something nasty, don't ppl know how to play fair! Im sorry to offend anyone here but I am not one that is going to join the hype and add a fake 'congradz' to history lady!

This is truly sad and this makes sisters not even want to post on this forum because of such petty behavior....i know that has crossed my mind lately!

Aisha, dear, you are absolutely right. I somehow missed this thread and didnt even get to vote so I never did take a look at her page.
Guess Im guilty there. I just trusted that the voting process was a honest one.
I think you and I have agreed on the thanking subject and it has been brought to the attention of the sisters several times via the thread that our wonderful Admin posted for us all. I have to say that I have noticed some improvement in this area here recently, though.

IMO, the award for best MMC space page cant go to someone who clearly has nothing on their page. This is a dishonest way of voting. Shame. Shame. Perhaps though, you might send Admin a private message and explain to her what you feel is going on. NOBODY on here should feel like they dont want to post here. Please take your concern to Sis Admin as she is the one who can truly put some elimination to some of this.

Thank you fro understanding this issue...about thh thanking process it is still being mis-used! All you have to do is open up the games threads and you will see a pattern of sisters thanking specific ppl! I can name the group and be sure of it but I do not like to de-fame a person so i will not p[int the finger in the hope that the sisters in question stop this childish behaviour!

I apologize, I am so sorry. At most, I didn't 'realize' in the sense that the 'new' History Lady hasn't even decorated her page. I believe sisters chose for her based on her 'previous' account, ...space page she had with MMC, before her having problems, because she somehow couldn't log into her previous account. But having said this, I don't think its fair for a sister to get voted if her MMCSpace page is not even decorated, or has nothing on it. Therefore, I will be letting Admin know about the situation insha'Allah and perhaps we can award the 'next' highest vote - for another sister.

Hanan its very nice of u 2 stick up for the 'unfair' sisters but there is no need. Marjani's old page was empty too plus u had supplied all the entrants with a link to their pages so 1 would assume to vote u have to have opened a page or at least have visited it in the last few days....Marjani started her new account a while back...plus it is not really fair to not view the other pages to compare n then vote :ohno:

This contest will be void out. Many things went wrong and inshaAllah for the next competition they will be corrected.

I want to point out to the members that Sr. Muslimah2008 works very hard to bring you the competitions and never deliberatly tried to make a contest anything less than fair for all the participants. I would hope that her work is appreciated and commended! Thank you Sr. Muslimah2008 for your hard work!!



I trust that sisters who participate in the competitions do so in fairness and not favoritism. the latter will make the competition unpleasant for those that do play fair. That being said...


If I find a trend among sisters of constantly voting for the same members, they will be prevented from participating in the contests. Also, I will set a new rule where you CANNOT vote for the same sister twice in a row.


I am very strict when it comes to following rules and hope that the rules here are going to be respected by the MMC members.

If any members find anything unfair with the competitions, please feel freely to pm me so we can work on the matter.
