What is your favorite meal of the day to cook?

I thought it would best interesting to know everyone fav meal of the day to cook :D Mine is breakfast..i make cereal :lol: or if i feel like it oatmeal. But i can only get away with this with the children although sometimes my husband will let me get away with cereal too :wink: ;D

I would have to say dinner, because that is bascially the only one I do cook for.....well, I make dinner more than I make lunch.....and breakfast I make once in a "blue moon"...everybody fends for themselves for breakfast :wink:.

I voted lunch because I don't cook for lunch! :-\ It's just Ayah and I; we eat leftovers from dinner or simple stuff like sandwiches and yogurt.

aoa sisters i love to cook lunch becuase me and dh and youssef always eat together it is basically our dinner becuase dh works at evening so our biggest meal of the day is then and we can sit together and enjoy each others company . and we are all together alhumdulilah

My favorite is Breakfast on the weekends, because more than likely we are all at home together then the kids and my husband run for the borders after that.... but I will cook eggs, grits, beef bacon, or chicken sausage, and waffles and or toast.

I don't like cooking, so if I must choose one, it's breakfast. Hubby usually likes scrambled eggs and toast- although I wish he liked cereal instead! I came from a household where everone makes their own breakfast, so this was new to me. I'm used to it now though.

I don't like to cook, so I guess I'd have to choose breakfast. Though most days I do cook breakfast too, it's a smaller menu which can be prepared in under an hour, Alhamdulillaah.

I would say DINNER... yep ! that's when we hv our family time & I can cook so many varieties of dishes.

But sad to say, this is a rare occassion... cos I worked and my 'maid' does the cooking. But if ever I get the chance or sometimes during the weekends, I love to do dinner !! [smilie=icon14.gif]

I only cook one meal a day. It is just me here all day and I only eat one meal a day so it would be a waste. My husband and I just snack on things until dinner. I always make a big nice dinner so its more then enought for two people alhumdullah. I will make breakfast sometimes on the weekends, I guess its more like a brunch and my husband will usually take us out to eat that night mashAllah.

I love to cook dinner. This lady who is my brother's friend with benifits told me she hasn't cooked in five days. I'm thinking she's not married so why bother. But nevertheless she still has to children. Her daughter's needs to learn to help her out.

everyone grabs whatever they want when hungry ...I stock up the refrig...cut up veggies...some cooked meat.... then from there throw whatever found in refrig together then you got a meal whether hot or cold. I love once a week brunch on tray in bed with soft music and papers to read. my hubby loves raw veggies as much as I do. he must hve pita as I must hve my german bread. he got his hummus as I got my own version of dips such as crab spread or tuna . even lobster. I also love smoked fish on platter which can be eaten cold or hot.

Breakfast! I love breakfast! I would have it for all three meals if I could. Cereal is a staple, but should any of you sisters ever visit me, you could choose from pancakes, belgian waffles, french toast, omlettes, egyptian ful, feta cheese with tomatoes, indian paratas....the list goes oonnnn.

I enjoy cooking for any mealtime,but my favorite is breakfast. This meal is what starts every brand new day. Also it gives me a chance to actually sit with my husband and enjoy this special time together, this special, peaceful, relaxing time before my son wakes up and toys start flying !!!
