Assalamu Aleikum Wa Rahmetullahi Wa Barakatuh
Dear sisters
I would choose an islamic private school. Why? Because in a privat school i think you have a bit more control what they learn and can avoid your kid learn stuff you disagree. But first thing, i don`t have the money right now. And second, there isn`t a privat islamic full time school here in this country. My second choice would be the international language privat school. This would be a great preparation for my daughters future. I ask ALLAH to make this possible for my baby.

I didn't vote because I have a number of answers of what I'd do if I could afford it, inshaaAllaah.
I'd home school all my children up until they're about 4 years old (the approx. age of finishing kindergarden).
If there is are Islaamic Salafi schools (separate schools for separate genders) nearby and I'm satisfied with them Islaamically I'll send my children there. Such schools in this country will be private. The academic standard won't bother me much, as I'm capable of teaching academics to my children inshaaAllaah, Alhamdulillaah.
If there is no Salafi school nearby then I'd homeschool my girls but allow my boys to attend public schools inshaaAllaah. Dh and I will do the Islaamic part at home with all of them inshaaAllaah.
The reason for homeschooling the girls is that the laws in France to not allow anyone in public school to wear "religions symbols" (aka hijaab) to school. I'd also want my girls to enjoy staying at home which I think is particularly important in the society in which we live at the moment. There is too much fitnah and haraam out there for me to allow my girls to attend public school. I'd let the boys go simply because they don't have "hijaab issues" to deal with. I also think it's important for the boys to learn how to function within the society because it will be their duties to be the bread winners of their families, so they need to learn how to interract with the kufaar without compromising their deen, inshaaAllaah.
All private schools where I live are roman catholic, so private schooling is out of the question at the moment.
If I find someone who is Salafi and he/she has the ability and willingness to come to my home and tutor the children privately, then I'll consider that option to help me out with teaching them Islaamic studies, inshaaAllaah.

I chose homeschool by parents b/c I don't like the environment in public schools, more disciplining than learning. Private schools are usually catholic/religious. And sadly, I don't trust the quality of Islamic schools, we have Islamic schools in our area, but the teachers are not all certified and also they pick up a lot of bad things from the kids who have no manners. I do like how they teach Arabic and Islamic studies at the Islamic schools, however, I don't like they way many of the kids behave/talk. I'd prefer to keep my child closer to me while they're young and impressionable so I can point out what's right/wrong in our deen and can monitor who their friends are better, iA.

aoa i want to send youssef only to madrasa and then homeschool him the rest fo the subjects in shaa Allah why becuase i can have flexibility of when i can go on vacation and etc and he doesnt get behind and also no matter where u send ur kids they still learn bad stuff . i have seen islamic school worse then regular public schools kids outside the masjid in ramadan swearing fighting having girlfriends lieing etc. so they can learn this anywhere no matter what u teach ur kids the minute they walk out ur door they will learn somethign by someone . so if u want to instill good things and watch them always keep them in homeschool .

Salaam Alaikum,
Subhan'Allah! I really want to send my kids to an Islamic school if/when we have the money! This is my true dream. But I'm afraid that here in the states, it won't be fully incorporated, because of the languages other than Arabic being used more than english and a fear my kids will not get the proper islamic knowledge.
ALLAH knows best and insha'Allah ALLAH will make it possible, ameen!

salaamalaikum,
well, my hubby will not allow islamic school, as he wants my daughter to have a secular education, meaning no religion mixed with education, and i dont want to homeschool... i just put regular public. i think in my area at least, the school system is awesom. and i will always be able to give her after school islamic classes, and weekend school, inshallah. i think being around other kids of all different backgrounds is important. so i think that this is what i will do. inshallah.

Private islamic is what we have right now, Al hamdul-illah, it is working for us so far. But if i had more money to spend, i would go for homeschooling with professional help (especially when it comes to Islamic topics and for re-enforcement) - Yes we can dream Lucy!:)
