I dont know if it is a site problem or just your computer screen. Mine seems fine but if anyone else has the same problem please let me know. This way i can find out if it has something to do with the site.

Thanks

Assalaamu alaikum,

I'm wondering if it's just the threads where sis Jasmine (Mommyto4under3) has posted...

Sis Jasmine have you tweaked your signature so that the tickers all appear on the same line?? [smilie=1224311icon_wink.gif]

Maybe that might be the problem. Sis mommyof4under3 when you get a chance can you make sure that all the items in the signature portion of your posts are all directly under each other.

Let me know if that helps.

lol, sorry, i didnt realize it was me until asya told me! yes, i have 3 tickers, and i wanted to put pics of the kids on there, but it said my siggy was too long, could it be possible to make the siggy longer?

Pleeeeeaaaaase, don't make the siggies longer. We already have a place to post pictures, I find some siggies too long as they are already, it makes for too much scrolling up and down.

PS A higher screen resolution makes everything fit in your screen, but you might have a problem with the text becoming a bit too tiny. Of course, it might be that some can't get a higher screen resolution...

I'm kinda with sis Oum Anas on this one (for my own selfish reasons). Since a couple weeks ago I've been on a dial-up connection and it's painfully slow for pages to load because of the siggies and emoticons. Everytime I think I can scroll down and start to read the page jumps back up because of siggies and emoticons being loaded. I will be on adsl again soon (with another ISP) inshaaAllaah, but until then I'm getting a taste of what those on dial-up connections face. It really is frustrating, subhaanAllaah. Perhaps we should take those sisters on dial-up into consideration when we make alterations? Had I not alread had MMC as a part of my daily routine, I would not have bothered to come into the forum because it really is a headache for me to be able to read posts at the moment.

Assalaamu alaikum,

It's sorted, alhamdu Lillah. [smilie=23icon_mrgreen.gif]

Sis Jasmine, you could take a pic of the kids together, resize it to 80 or 100 (check the allowance on your profile under avatar) and then have a little avatar of your kids instead. [smilie=12biggrin.gif]

You can use www.shrinkpictures.com to do all the resizing you need and then save the result either on your pc or on photobucket and link the avatar to there.

I agree it shouldn't be longer just for that reason. Sis, is it the signatures that is causing you problems or the emoticons used in the post?? Or is it something else as well.

I would like to understand the problem and see what i can do to help. Nothing is more frustrating then having to wait and wait for something to download.
