I was wondering if we could have a Ramadan corner where we could post the duas which we read and what best can be done this month so other sister and we ourself can benifit from it. As ramadan is fast approaching. I guess it will be a good idea and liked by all

I would suggest that anyone who wants to put up information on Ramadan or Eid do so in the Islam and Your Life forum. Once i get enough entries there, I will make the new forum and move the posts there. This way we will have enough entries for a forum where others will become interested in visiting.

Somethings to post can be on the following:

What does Ramadan mean
What are requirements of Ramadan
Why we observe Ramadan
What Ramadhan means to you
Things we can do for a great Ramadan
Important things to know about Ramadan
A daily reminder on things to do during each day of Ramadan (i may make something like this as an announcement for others to see each day of Ramadan)

Also...can include information on Eid...what the festivals are...how they are celebrate...the meaning behind them...etc...

Masha ALLAH what for an great idea. Another suggestion would be an Ramadan personal diary, preparations for Ramadan and Ramadan greetings for our sisters.

Great ideas...i think someone should get this started. Anyone who is interested should PM Admin and let her know you would like to moderate the Ramadan forum. This way we can get it up before Ramadan.
