What am I doing wrong with quoting? When I try to quote someone, it doesn't show up in a neat little white box the way it should...

I am glad you asked! I was about to address this anyways since so many were trying it but it wasn't working. Ok here is what you do.

1-Copy the quote from the other person's post
2-Paste it on your post
3-Highlight the entire quote, that you just pasted, with your mouse
4-Press the "Quote" button that is displayed above
6-lastly, nothing should be inside the brackets where the word "quote" is written.

That's it! :mrgreen:

Yes, I noticed that you can put in
[quote] [/quote] and it will work:

You wont be allowed to do quotes that way. Just the way I described.

As most of you know I am in detroit for the week. I was trying to do this very things this am with some other information I needed in an email. After about 3 hours....i gave up :oops: . so I came to my favorite spot on the web naturally... thought about how I want a [bebzi] and read this thread. But alas, my girlfriends computer will not allow you to copy and paste anything. I think she has it set or something. So once I return home I will be at my own computer and be able to try that...isnha Allah
