as Salaamu 'alaykunna wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu ya akhawaat,
Which type of water do you drink?

I drink water directly from the tap as long as it's safe to do so. If I live in an area where tap water is not safe, then I'll drink bottled water inshaaAllaah.

I have very very hard water from tap so Id drink it and use for cooking.
buy water softener when I do washing...buy bottled water when I go out and for my husband. After several bad experinces with water outside my country. I even do boiled water as well. Filtered water if at friends house.
depending where they are at.

Tap water in Singapore... filtered in Pakistan - my dad-in-law would take large coolers to the designated 'taps' and bring the water home.

For cooking would be tap, for tea have to use filtered water cause tap tastes so bad. For drinking defiantly tap, again it is a taste issue.

Assalamu'alaikum ya Ukht,
Sis Iman : Tap water in Singapore
Alhamdullillah, our water is safe... so it's tap water for me.
But since the NeWater (recycled) project of bringing recycled water into our homes, dh had wanted our drinking water to be boiled... I don't care for it much !
So it's either direct from the tap, or boiled... Wallahu'alam.
JazakAllah khair...

I put "spring water" becuase that is my preference. But if I didnt have any and I was really thirsty I would drink some from the tap or a water fountain.

If anyone drinks Aquafina, it is just tap water with some stuff added to it.

Jasmin: tap water yuk!
in Texas- u're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!! water shouldn't have a taste. there is no natural water source here (all man-made lakes). maybe that's why the tap water tastes like someone's trying to kill u. have u noticed that fountains are BLUE where the water comes out! uh ya, there's something definitely not good abt the tap here.
i looooove lake water and Arrowhead bottled water (mountain water).

Ilhumdu'Allah our tap water tastes fine, so I drink it right from the tap. Supposidely it comes from the Rocky Mountains, so maybe that's why it's good.

I have a pitcher filter because my son asked for one. He wants a filter on his shower too but dream on little prince. It does taste better after it's been filtered so now we all drink it from there. But if I'm in a hurry and for cooking it is tap. Nothing wrong with the tap water here in California, no funny smell or taste. My grandma's water in Vermont smells like sulfer!

FOR COOKING I USE TAP WATER ONLY...
TO DRINK - FILTERED FROM THE FRIDGE...
NEVER DRINK BOTTLED WATER...I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE TO BUY THE WATER, IF THERE'S PLENTY OF IT WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE... [smilie=2625icon_question.gif]

Salaam Alaikum,
For me, its also filtered water from the tap. I buy PUR filteration system that purifies the water... I am not a water person so water is not really on my list of favorites, unless its flavored water.
Also before Hurricane Ike came here, we bought bottled water to use... bottled water is ok with me too.
