Just to clarify - by "football", do you mean like the american game or do you mean (what americans call) soccer, which the rest of the world calls football?

I didnt vote because *technically* i dont like football, but have become a huge fan only after marriage, of my husbands alma matter ... GO BUCKEYES!! We follow Ohio State's football (and basket ball) I admit though, I do it cuz it's fun to get in on the hype [smilie=1224311icon_wink.gif] My husband is crazy about it though!

I Had enuf with sports as where I got three sons putting up with so many of their injuries as sports are too dangerous for my taste as its just as bad watching horror movies as I dont like to watch either or watch how ppl got killed in front of your very eyes. yuck!!

I only ever get interested when it is at international level. Lol, that is soccer (Worldwide footie!) and not the American version! My kids are similar to myself, we all get a bit hyped when there is a European or World cup at stake. Otherwise, myself, no.

(However, my boys are getting into their rugby these days -lol, that's like American football but without the padding!)

What I call football Americans call soccer. That I do watch occasionally if it's world cup or champions league related and a team I like is playing.

I've been a fan of Zinedine Zidane and Fabien Barthez since I was a teenager, and I've always supported France just because of them.

i dont know if you mean american football (grunt, lol) or futbol...aka soccer... but in any case, i am SO not into sports... lol... and neither is my DH. he is a big ol nerd, and loves his computers, lol. but mashallah, my daughter loves gymnastic type stuff, so we watch things like that and cheerleading and iceskating on tv with her....
but if you held a gun to my head, and made me pick a team i would say.....
